The Influence of Feedback Types on the Use of Automation During Learning

This study investigated two feedback types to see if there was a relationship between level of elaborative and participant’s ability learn task while also looking at their use automation. The rule-based problem solving where participants needed the rules selecting one pair (Ranger Hiker) on gridded map. Ten trials were randomly presented who asked make selections based (two stated unknown participant when starting) correct matches. Results indicated that type significantly influenced accuracy, trial difficulty from this can be applied in education training declarative knowledge tasks must inferred.
